The Culture of Turkey
Turkey has to give credit to many things for how successful it is today. Although it is not quite yet a developed country it is on the right track towards becoming one. A few reasons for its success so far could be its Site. Its proximity to two diffent bodies of water help it have not only a Naval advantage but also gives it an economic boost. Many families have a very rough time farming the rugged soil so the fathers and men go to coastlines for jobs, and the women stay back to take care of the home.
Their life expectancy increased significantly in the past 25 years as well, which also leads one to think their health care has improved immensely. This is probably due to economic development in the past and increase in secondary and higher level education . The development of formal education has allowed more universities and colleges to develop in Turkey and also more opportunities to study abroad to other countries.
Due to Turkey being over 99% Muslim you'd think it would be a very traditional country without very many pop-cultural influences, but as time goes by more clothing, electronics, and music are spreading there just like new medical technologies that allowed their life expectancy to rise and keep rising.
Turkey has barely any Nonecumene land, which means that agriculture has helped the country boom in many ways. The majority of work is still primary
and agricultural jobs, but the
outcomes of the 3rd Agricultural
Revolution didn't hit til about the
nineties and commercial agriculture
started dominating then allowing Turkey to be one of the leading countries in agriculture.
